Created in 2000, Cloud Place is a three-story studio, media, and performing arts space dedicated to teen artists, designers, and performers. Located in Boston's Copley Square, Cloud Place is a unique meeting ground for young artists and an accessible venue for the Boston public to share in the artistic creation of city teens. The studio spaces at Cloud Place provide a safe, "neutral" space for young people from many neighborhoods and nationalities to create and present contemporary works of art, performance, media, and design.
With the launch of the ArtScience Prize in 2009, Cloud Place became a core partner location of ArtScience Labs, an international network of creative organizations which aims to expand access to the benefits of artistic creation and expression in Boston and other cities of the world.
Cloud Place was designed by Peter Rose and Associates.
